In keeping with my creating-a-book-a-month project of 2010, here’s April’s creation, “Bloom.”

Though I don’t have any planted this year, I think dahlias might just be one of my favourite garden flowers. I do however have gorgeous lilies, red and yellow roses, forget-me-nots and (until a week ago) big dewy irises in bloom. The morning glories, cosmos, sweet peas and zinnias are on their way…
