Tales of a literary voyeur with captain voyeur, Julie Wilson at the TPL

Seen Reading is one of my favourite projects. And books. Microfiction + strangers + literary voyeurism + Julie Wilson. If you don’t know about it and haven’t been hashtagging your bookish transit spottings, do!! #seenreading

Julie and I had the most wonderful chat in the summer (that you can see here!) and we’ll be chatting once more, sans webcam, avec audience at the City Hall Toronto Public Library Branch on Wed Nov 14, 2012 from 1-2 pm.

More here:

Julie Wilson’s compulsion to observe people reading on streetcars and subways led to “Seen Reading,” a collection of microfictions based on these sightings. Who is the reader and what does a book tell us about him or her? Wilson and Lindsay Zier-Vogel, writer and creator of The Love Lettering Project, offer answers to those questions.

(And if you need any more confirmation that Julie Wilson is um, the best, check this video out!)
