The Love Lettering Project VII kicked off on Friday June 10th and for the next 2 months, I’ll be papering Toronto with (500!!) love poems!
A love poem to Roncesvalles:
I love you
where the trees are bigger
than arms can reach
and porches spread
the width of houses.
A love poem to College/Dundas St. overpass:
There is a bridge
where the air smells
like Kit Kats
and the sun is always setting.
A love poem to Lake Ontario:
I love you where the lake stretches
further than eyes can make sense of,
turning the blue into forever.
A love poem to brunch:
I love you early
in the morning,
a lazy Saturday
a lazier Sunday,
sweetened
by maple syrup
and you.
If you stumble upon an envelope marked ‘love,’ don’t be shy – it’s for you!!
