The University of Toronto Magazine poetry contest
This summer I had the great pleasure of being on the judging panel for the 2015 University of Toronto’s Poetry contest. I read piles and piles of submissions in the backyard, in the sunshine, and then met with the other esteemed judges, George Elliot Clarke and Robert McGill and we talked about poetry for hours and eventually decided on a winner and runner-up.
Man alive, are they good poems! Read them here!
