I’m so thrilled that my hand-bound letterpressed Amelia Earhart book in the Travelling Exhibition will be on display at Massey College this summer!

4 Devonshire Pl, Toronto, ON
10am-5pm, Monday-Friday

And if you happen to find yourself in Görlitz, Germany, in September, the project will travel to the public library exhibition space at the print and book studio druckfeld.

The exhibition, HIMMELSZEITEN UND JAHRESRICHTUNGEN, will be up from September 7-10, 2017.

From curator, Manuela Buchting:

The project started in 2014 when I asked a few artist friends to collaborate in an artist book project. As I have started the project when living in Canada, most of the artists are Canadians (writers, visual artists, book binders, filmmakers), but as I come from Germany originally, my goal is to connect the art of artists coming from Germany/ Europe with Canadian artists. The idea is to collect artist books of 5 artists that would all be put together in a box. This first box became the Winter Box. Then following Spring, Summer …

From the beginning on until now, I have been collecting 5 projects from artists at a time and the boxes of all four seasons have been created: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.

The project continues with the next series of books for each box on the theme of the Directions: North, East, South and West.
